Tips and advice for all things dog and puppy related….
Sally has been a huge help; I booked private and group classes. I would highly recommend the one-on-one sessions for new owners, as Sally got to see the home environment and also listened to my struggles. Each session starts with me filling her in on what's been happening, then on to training; I've now learned to listen to her advice and ignore the opinions of others!. Group training has also been good; we went to Clarence Park one day and had an indoor evening class at Cunningham Hill School. Sally is knowledgeable, naturally good with dogs, and good at training people like me! 😆

I wanted to share something lovely with you and to say ‘thank you’. I was walking Riley yesterday and another lady was walking her dog on the field. I could see her with her dog at a distance and she could see me and Riley. We eventually came within talking distance and she said to me, ‘your dog has got amazing recall’. It made my day! I have been working consistently with Riley on her recall since we had the 1:2 session with you (and Karen and Ginny) and she has come on so well. To have someone comment was just amazing. So a great big thank you to you both - from me and Riley.

Sally and Kim answered our cry for help very quickly and delivered a supportive, friendly and professional rescue dog package for us when Merty joined our family. They gave us homework and ideas to help him settle in to our home and best of all Merty really liked them too! Thank you Training Tails x

I just wanted to drop you a line to say how much I enjoyed your training classes. I was impressed with how much we learnt in such a short space of time. Riley is doing great walking on the lead since that session 😄 I can't commit to the next set of lessons due to work commitments but would love to continue after that. Best wishes Claire, Adam & Riley

We did puppy training with Training Tails having already done an initial course with another trainer. Some of the content we had therefore already covered, but Sally and Kim were brilliant at adapting each exercise to the next level so we could continue to learn. It was so good we did it twice! Again, exercises were adapted second time around so we kept learning and developing further. We then went on to do the next stage of training, followed by Hoopers which is great exercise for both Belle and I! Sally and Kim really know their stuff and are brilliant at taking the time to engage with every dog and owner, at whatever stage they are at in their journey, to ensure they get the most out of each class. They are also so helpful and accessible in their Facebook group. We have loved all our training with them and we are so grateful for our calm, well-mannered girl, and I’m quite sure Sally and Kim have had a huge part to play in that.
